Cleaning A Small Workshop 🧹 (My Thought Process) | CLEAN WITH ME
Not only is a clean shop a good way to start the week, but a clean shop is also a safe shop. I like to try to clean my workshop before I start new projects. What about you? In this video I do a bit of cleaning and preparing for the next projects, and I share my thoughts behind each step. Hopefully you find it helpful and/or entertaining.

Great video. I am jealous of all your storage. It’s great to see how well you have created space in your shop.
thanks Thom! 🙌🏻
it's refreshing to see content that is shot well, edited well, and doesn't seem fake like so many other channels. How you don't have more subs and views makes no sense. Keep up the great work Seth! 👊🏻

my husband is so talented and creative and hard working! 🥰

Hello Seth, I understand you are the man when it comes to Creality Falcon Pro 10w. I have this unit and love it except for the rotary attachment. I can't seem to get things right. I have contacted the vendor about my problems without success. Do you have the basic setup instructions for the rotary for the chuck unit? I have followed the user manual but all I get is the mug that I am trying to engrave just turns round and round. All I get is a solid line all around the object.
"the man"? me? haha👊🏻 Well i think im about to be downgraded to "the boy" after this reply haha🤣 Unfortunately I don't have an answer for you. I don't have the rotary attachment (not sure if I'll really use it or not), so I'm sorry but I don't have any experience with rotary stuff. Are you sure it's the laser and not the software you're using? Email me directly through my website and I can see if I can put you in touch with somebody at Creality (🤞🏻). Sorry I couldn't be of more help on this one!
Hey, many thanks for the detailed video! I've bought this device and the only thing I couldn't figure out with the assembly is how to secure the air tube without making a future problem. I have no experience with lasering and neither the manual nor the official tutorial video show this part. Thank you! I can use my Falcon Pro without the anxiety of the tube jamming mid project!
awesome! glad it was helpful👌🏻. I'm setting up the 40watt model they just sent me and the air tube is secured a little differently/better on this one. Haven't run the new machine yet (hopefully this weekend) but i'll have a video it shortly as well. Thanks for watching! p.s. I've been loving the 10watt laser and getting a lot of use out of it. It'll be interesting to compare it to the 40watt now👍🏻
You should do private lessons on how make what you make because your builds are so good
thanks Will! Maybe one day...i still have so much to learn first haha! 👊🏻
If you build a hogwire fence like that I hope you film it!
This is the right way to do hogwire panels! I can’t stand when ppl tack them with staples revealing ugly whereas this recesses beautifully
last year i gave somebody a quote to do a hogwire fence in their backyard...roughly $6k. They hired me for a couple other projects but not the hogwire fence and had a less expensive person do it. When i came back to work on a different project there, the hogwire fence had been done staple-style and my client hated it. In my head i was saying "welp....you coulda hired me!" 🤣
Great film, editing work.
thank you!! nice to see somebody appreciate it🙌🏻
JIGS! Along with clamps, you can never have enough! Enjoyed this, thanks.
Nice
Thank you for this, the belt assembly was melting my brain, they really should update the instruction manual!! Are you able to share where you got the test files?
Found it in lightburn!
sorry for the delayed reply! yeah there is a built-in one within lightburn. i also used one that i bought from an etsy seller which is a little more detailed👍🏻
@@stuffsethmakes thank you 💜
@@stuffsethmakes I should also mention, I had to change my input in lightburn to usb in order to get it working, it took some tinkering to figure that out if it helps anyone!
yes! having used it a lot more now I've found in Lightburn that i still need to manually select the usb port for it to communicate with the machine even though "auto" is selected. I do see that I need to update the version Lightburn...maybe eventually one of the updates will solve that. Creality just reached out to me about a new version of a laser (Falcon2 PRO, there's a 22w and a 40w model)...keeping my fingers crossed. Would be a great opportunity🤞🏻
Hi, they have a cheaper option with 7.6W here in Europe, what do you think for first one ?
i think that would probably be a great option to get started! I think if you're unsure about how you'd use a laser it's good to start small (especially budget) and see how you like it. You'll probably end up learning quickly and thinking of all kinds of stuff you could do if you had a more powerful laser. At that point maybe you feel better about getting a bigger laser and then you can go from there. I still use this 10w model and it's been great for my needs (although there are times when i feel like the 22w or 40w would be nice but I also have a cnc so I'll also use that in my workflow too). Have fun!👍🏻
@@stuffsethmakes thank you for the reply but here in europe i can get a 7.5w creality for 199€ wich i think is quite cheap, what acessories do you think i need the most or should i only bug the laser and then i can go from there?
@@stuffsethmakes or i can get a longer ray 5 10w for 240€
@InfoGamerbro do whatever you want....just keep watching my videos🤣👊🏻
I’m using these for the first time in a shower with subway tile. Having a way to bring tile flush is a game changer for me. One thing I’ve found is they pop off easily with a good whack but if you place them too close to an interior corner it’s difficult to get enough force to cleanly knock them off. I’ve used a dremel with a tiny blade to carefully cut them out. That’s my only complaint.
i never thought of the inside corner issue you mentioned. My projects didn't include that scenario but thanks for the feedback! I'll keep that in mind on future projects too👍🏻 p.s. I like your profile image 🕊️
Your info is excellent. Please lose the music so we can hear what you’re saying.
at what part of the video is the music overpowering the dialog? i previewed the edit many times and everything sounded well-balanced. Please clarify.
still waiting for some clarification on your comment. thanks
Absolutely beautiful work brother 🏆👍👍
Good video . Get rid of the music at least while you are talking.
clarify what part of the video you're referring to.
Art coat epoxy from stone coat countertops doesn’t yellow
great video, I understand and watched the video on the stainless steel rods, but, I think I'd replace these with a magnet, which would served similar aesthetic purpose, but possibly, keep a cheese knife in place when moving the board around a table.
I happened to land on your channel accidentally...you got great talent buddy and your channel is definitely underrated...keep up the great work, you are cool
thanks so much! The video I'm editing this very moment is going to be great and I'm really excited about the creative editing and project. Should be ready in a couple week. I hope you'll have a chance to check it out. Thanks again!!
Used these, and they do not pop off that easily, they leave plastic sticking out, they are horrible! I am going to have to use a soldering iron tip to melt them down so they don't show.
sorry you had a difficult time, they worked 100% perfectly for me on a couple different projects and I'm going to be using them again for my porch tile next month👌🏻. maybe it's operator error in some way? Good luck with your future projects 👍🏻
I like your style of videos.
thanks Michael! I never know how much editing to do. Do I make the effort and do it how i like to edit to the music and the beat, etc even though it takes longer? Or do i just knock out basic footage with no creativity and get them done faster? I may never figure it out but I'm glad there are people like you that appreciate my edits! thank you! 🙌🏻
I am really glad see a great DIY solution for the all in one sturdy stand.🙂
I loved seeing that when I visited in person
thanks! it was a very special project 👊🏻
great camera work and editing👌🏻 How does this channel not have more subs and views?!?
i know, right?? 😃
i love my Beasley!!❤❤❤
Very nice video! I wish i could do something like this for my grandparents 😅
That’s really cool I wish I had one of those for my new dog I got
Looks cool …. You probably already know this, but if not little draft may help a lot de- molding around the details. Something like 5 degrees or so. Tapered single flute bits are cheap and may work fine in that pink foam.
thanks to "Make something* channel for sending me here!
Make Something can thank Stuff Seth Makes for designing a table to steal🤣🤣. Thanks for being here, looking to have a good year here in the 'Tube 🙌🏻
Ha ha, well I think he is thanking you because he also gives you credit in his most recent video for that design, great work! Cheers from a new subscriber :)
